I love that pen, it has a great silhouette, but something doesn't seem right with the pairing of foreground and background. The pen feels really heavy and deep but the landscape is light and washed out. It's hard to expose for something so dark against a sky. Maybe a different background would work. Just a thought. :shrug:

hmmm, you could go a few ways with this one. BW might work. Interestingly enough, going the opposite and really saturating the background may also work. You could try making the background heavier by upping the blacks or applying an overall adjustment like a tint. There could be lots of solutions to getting them to match a bit more. I guess it comes down to what you want the mood to be. :painter:

That's the fun part. :)
